Dear SCI,

Celestino Ruivo is an engineering professor at the Universidad Nacional de Algarve, Portugal. The solar cooker models he saw and the presentations he heard at a solar cooking conference have now made him solar cooking fanatic. The photos below are from a formational meeting with friends at the University who are now creating "a revolution in solar cooking" there. He has developed different models, improved existing cookers, and given many demonstrations in Algarve. Since Portugal is a sunny country, I think they have a good solar future. Celestino Ruivo is our RECOSOL representative in Portugal.
